Hello!
The last eight years have been a fun adventure."You should pursue photography," my friend Jackie said. I was taking iPhone pictures of my kids as I attempted to dive into the social media world of "brand repping." After she got me behind a DSLR, I felt the freedom to produce art in a way I had never experienced before.
I love capturing people. People bear the Divine image. It's my goal to make you see and feel His delight in you as I create photographs that you will cherish forever.
But why am I called, "Shea in the Wild"? Read on below!
Shea in the Wild
the storyThat friend Jackie I told you about? Eventually, we became business partners. She loved taking pictures of me taking pictures. Sometimes I was climbing on a ladder or a huge rock. Sometimes I was laying flat on the ground and sometimes I was practically upside down as I pursued the perfect shot. Regardless, Jackie titled these frames #sheainthewild. It stuck.
“If the photographer is interested in the people in front of her lens, and if she is compassionate, it’s already a lot. The instrument is not the camera but the photographer.”
